Nice video. I wish my husband would have had a dash cam when he was driving. We’re both in our 70’s now and retired but he still has a million stories of when he was on the road driving coast to coast in the U.S.A.

Some questions (writing them in English so that more people can understand them): 1. Could you give examples on usage of liftable wheel axles? When should they be down and when should they be up? 2. What different types of gearboxes have you been using? Which is your favourite and why? 3. Does it differ alot to drive a truck that has all cargo on a separate trailer from driving a truck that has part of the cargo on the truck itself and the rest on a separate trailer? I believe we call them "dragbil" and "långtradare" in Swedish (please correct me if I'm wrong).

1. Down when the truck is loaded...and up if its empty or not carring a lot of weight. 2. Manual and automatic...nowdays the new automatic gearboxes are very good. So for use everyday, I guess they are pretty nice to use :) 3. Yes it can differ a lot. Even more on snow and ice....but it also depends on where the weight on the truck or trailer is.

Hi Mr. Driver Man. I've done quite a lot of professional driving in my working life, heavy trucks (semi-trailers) and road going mobile cranes. I have never driven in snow in a heavy vehicle. I have always wondered why you don't use more dual drive rear axles in northern Europe, which would give you better traction and probably carry more than your tag axle. Thanks for your great videos.

Hello! Most trucks that haul timber...logging trucks, or dump trucks that often drive in the mud. They have that. But not so often on trucks that drives on regular roads. Extra weight and all that. Also, many trucks have a steering tag axle. Thank you! :)
