As someone that hated gym class as a kid, my family I have started going to the gym because it's cheaper than physical therapy for my daughter and she can work more than just one area at a time. I've found my weakest area is my shoulders so far. Granted, I'm nowhere near doing 100+ lbs on anything but the leg press machine. I feel that guy that was trying to do too much weight. On my shoulders, I can't do too much but the goal is to get it up gradually. I feel like him on my last few reps. Love the videos and your commentary on them. Definitely a guy I'd love to sit down and just have a coffee with and hear some of your stories.

You ain't wrong Eddie. Tore my bicep in a none gym accident and it took 12 months at least for me to get the confidence back. Then a few months later I was benching incline and was very tired that day. Went for my final set and tore my tricep. It's still healing and it's been about a year too. I'm back to benching but it's been a slow slow road. And I'm way more careful these days. Big warm ups and stretching. I also don't train if I am exhausted that day now. Commenting at the 7min 30 seconds mark about. I don't put the clips on if I don't have a spotter. I have been in situations where I couldn't finish my last rep, and you just raise one side of the bare more than the other so you don't get crushed by the weights.
@japanesecar15018 ай бұрын
In the situation as in the video, it is about safety pins and customizing the rack, nevermind that if you do not put clips on, you or someone else can get hurt easier. You won´t see a strong lifter no having clips on, unless they train Oly and have a sovereign platform. They still train speed, alwas get the reps, and when they don´t, well they are on a platform, and have a coach or an another athlere. It is understandable in a gym with bumpers, somewhat, but tell me, is it not easier to ask anyone to spot you, and is the shifting of weight worth not having clips on, especially when it always makes putting weight back a nuisance and a danger?
@SkrimpKing8 ай бұрын
then don't do the weight...much more liable to hurt someone else when not having clips and 100% just selfish thinking.
