I felt this. My biological father did a " See ya" when my Momma told him that she was pregnant. He wanted her to abort me, and my Momma told him to go fuck himself. She had been told by numerous doctors that she'd never be able to have children and she was keeping me. Before it's asked, my Momma and I are Pro Choice, I mean she was before she passed away. My biological father then got it in his head after I was born and I about 3 years old, that he wanted to come around and get to know me. That didn't last long and I barely remember anything about him or the visits except that he wore penny loafers, had a weird swimsuit, took me to the gym with him and put me in the nursery, he had long hair, and rescued me from drowning because I decided to jump off the diving board in the deep end and my Momma was screaming. I learned the truth about my biological father when I was 12, and once when I was laying on the couch because I always got sick with my cycle, my Uncle's ex wife told my Momma that she had to talk to her. She told my Momma that my biological father had come by where she worked and she was helping him, and she looked at him and told him that I was a great kid, and she said that he got a real sad look on his face and said " I know. " My Momma married a wonderful man when I was 13, and he adopted me, and he's who I know as my Daddy. When I was pregnant with my daughter and about to pop, I noticed that my parents were looking at me, and then whispering. I asked them what was wrong and I was told to sit down that they had to show me something, and it was my biological father's death announcement. I didn't know what to do because I didn't know him like I knew my Daddy. He had passed away from a heart attack, and I found out that I had a half sister, but I just shrugged my shoulders because I had no feelings for him. My Momma later opened up more about him, and some of the stuff she told me was horrific, but she told me that I had his nose, and the same expression on my face like he did. That Knights In White Satin was his most favorite song too, that he loved lifting weights like I did, and he loved Harley Davidson's like I did, and we would talk about how that was weird because I never knew him. When I was 30 the doctors started thinking that something was wrong with my heart and there was, so I asked my Daddy if he kept the death announcement and would he be hurt if I contacted my biological father's mother and know more about his medical history since he passed away from a heart attack. That great man said that he wouldn't be and that he understood. I called and of course his mother was shocked. We agreed to meet somewhere and my Daddy and daughter came with me. When she saw me, she said my Momma's name and when I sat down, I introduced her to my Daddy and my daughter. Of course I had to hear that my Momma kept me away from him blah blah blah, I got his medical history, and I looked at pictures of my half sister and her son, and she was a dead ringer for my daughter. I was thinking that it would be nice to have a younger sister and to be an aunt, but I didn't get my hopes up. Before his mother left, she said that she was going to tell his ex wife and daughter about me, so we could meet, and I said okay. Sometime later I called her because I had to ask her a quick and she was acting funny on the phone, so I asked her if his ex wife and the child that he acknowledged were there and she whisper " yes". I said " You haven't told them anything about me have you?" She said that she hadn't. I told that I would always be their family's dirty little secret and if my sperm source really wanted to know about me, then why didn't he hire a lawyer and try to find me, and take my Momma to court and fight to see me? She tried to call me by a nickname that she said that she use to call me, and I told her not to even try, that I had a grandmother who wasn't ashamed of me and called me by my family nickname and isn't afraid to tell people about me,and that will be the last time that we'll ever talk. In my 40's I read where she had passed away and people could comment, so I wrote in there who I was, and I'm sorry for everybody's loss, and if anyone wanted to get in touch with me here's my number, but nobody did and I wasn't expecting them too, but I finally let that family know that I wouldn't be kept a secret anymore and then have my Momma trash talked and blamed when they could've done something. I always wanted to hear his side of the story, but after meeting his mother, I don't want to anymore because I was warned about her too. I got the medical information that I needed and that's it.

@@notyouraverageharleyquinnstan It's pretty obvious she's playing Christy. It's also pretty common to mention the actual actor's name in a performance. Pardon me for saying something that might not seem related, but I've known a few ex-cons in my day. He says he has a lot of them working there, so he can't turn his back for a minute. What the hell does _that_ mean? They're _ex_ cons. Not _cons._ Does there come a point at which such people _can_ be trusted? I mean, they've committed a crime, they've been caught, they've been convicted, they've done their time, and they've been released. If such people _still_ can't be trusted, it means there's something wrong with our _justice_ system which means it's up to us to _fix_ it.
