As a 25 year old Canadian who has travelled to a few US trourist locations(New York City, LA, Florida, etc.); I can say that Canadians are more paranoid by stangers but also 75% more accomodating than the American folk Ive met and interacted with. If youre polite and immediately state your intentions, there is a 95% chance that the average Canadian will drop everything for 5 minutes to help an American stranger. Need to use my phone to make an emergency phonecall? -Sure. Need a ride somewhere and im already heading in that direction? -$20 and we got a deal. Need a dollar? -Sure.
