I saw the story as a metaphor for mundanity and our day-to-day lives. Hear me out, with every creature being a phone, lightbulb, or businessman. It clearly has an aesthetic beyond its epileptic nature. It's also based on work culture, and the evolution of that. Every day we wake up with a headache, needing to go to work, to make money, to quell the headache and the need for money. Then we have peace, but keeping the peace must mean we have to work. The Void is your safe place, sleep, your home. And the Post Void is when you're doing what you need to keep your void healthy. But in doing that you create further headaches, it's a cycle, of working, and resting, only when we work can we rest, and that's what I saw the game as, a manifestation of that.

I love this game, there's something about the way it assaults your senses that makes it look near impossible in videos, but perfectly puts you in a flow state when you actually play it. Its like instinct just takes over and suddenly I'm sliding under bullets, popping heads parkouring through the levels.

Ah POST VOID, my favorite game. I’ve played this a lot. The mentality of this game is like a shark, if it stops moving then you will certainly die. Funny enough the knife is actually the best especially since finishing fast gets you more points. Even more funny fact, I actually appear in the video on the monthly scores. It’s kinda nice seeing that I appeared up there from someone else’s monitor instead of my own.

Great review man, very hyper, filling in gaps with a little bit of funny noise - but that suits the game well. Kept me interested too. honestly, i think the pistol is one of the more sneaky weapons, as in it's only really good once you get comfortable with it, i've beaten a lot of runs with just the pistol, chaining headshots since it's pinpoint. i don't blame anyone for choosing a shotgun or knife instead, but i think if you get the right flow going it'll carry you to the void.
