They all are naturally occurring fatty acids that are derived from plant sources (and unfortunately sometimes animal sources). Perhaps you’re allergic to one of these compounds as I’ve seen and used them all in various skincare and makeup products without issue. It might also depend on the source of where they were derived. Always do a test on a small patch of skin when using new products. I have extremely sensitive skin and have no choice, but to be careful and do a 12-24 hour test to check for a reaction. I tend to use my wrists or back of my hand as skin is slightly thinner there, especially if it claims to be safe for your face. Take care!

I figured someone would explain that those acids were natural (like citric acid, etc.), and to be fair, the packaging did recommend testing the product on a small patch of skin first, but in my haste to continue working and get rid of the mosquito attacks asap, and with few allergies), I went full-send.
