YES! Quick, film it before the weather gets too warm! They can go fishing with Baelin, and fly kites. They can make bread together, and do that thing where you get flour on each other , but it doesn't make death knight's skin any lighter. And he's wearing an apron, with frills. Another Death Knight catches him frolicking in a meadow with her, and he just gives them the ups and frolicks off in slow motion, holding Phoenix's hand. They both eat apples they stole from the orchard, swinging their legs from a tree fallen over a creek. Death Knight resurrects a stillborn calf, and they feed it milk together. Final episode, Death Knight dies saving her, and that's her spark moment for becoming more self aware. When he respawns, she's so relieved she cries and hugs him. They both look at each other, with confusion, and greater understanding... ominous music plays. Story arc done.

Each new episode is death Knight looking ground down by the bleakness of quests, and then the next shot is him back in Honeywood, and Phoenix's maiden smiling happily and giving him another adorable quest. And each time it's a little harder for him to tear himself away from the cuteness and lovely little life that Honeywood gives him glimpses of. Last episode is him literally removing a crown of bones and looking at it, then tossing it away, and putting on the flower crown Phoenix gave him previous episode, before he turns up in front if her again.

Compassion fatigue is real. It's hard to not project onto the person you're caring for sometimes. I was studying psychology the entire time I was his carer and doing a lot of personal development, and had a lot of support mentally, which helped, but in the end you're the one going through it. Don't be afraid to reach out for support if you aren't already, and don't think it's selfish to put yourself first at times, because you can't care for others well if you're broken to. Good luck man.

@@jordancave3089 As some that's been a carer for their father for 7 years and watched him die to cancer, and studied psychology for 8 years and am a certified therapist, I don't see someone that's "thrown in the towel" here. I know you mean well. And I'm not having a go at you, just pointing out that what you might see as "giving up", is simply just acceptance. And it's actually much healthier to accept.

Death Knight is literally the skit of every single person with longterm moderate depression: a hollowed out husk of a person so hardened by life... but it only takes a little time & some kindness to crack that shell a little... It doesn't matter if it doesn't "fix" anything overnight. Sometimes we all just need someone in our life that is just kind and accepting. You'd be amazed how simple that sounds but we're all "so busy" on a daily basis that we "forget" because most people don't actually care: they want to care but they dont. So when you meet a magic person who's kind and accepting PROTECT THEM WITH YOUR LIFE. True kindess is rarer than gold.

Death Knight finding true love was incredibly heartwarming. When the series introduces a premise such as this, it generally plays out nicely until the end when it derails and comes to a hilarious and unexpection conclusion. This one was no exception. But for the opposite reason. The whole time you just want this to beautiful story to be preserved. Nothing needs to touch this. I kinda felt a little tension because I was so invested in this. The costumes and characters these guys got honestly rock, way better than a lot of what you see in high budget films now a days. And the Death Knight skit really made me smile, one of the more badass depictions of that class I’ve seen.
