LMAO😂😂😂😂 I SO appreciate you sharing this story!!! I swear I am ALWAYS feeling the exact same way about my child always acting the most even in a room of his peers or anywhere else we go. Thank you for allowing me to have a laugh picturing your situation you do well described bc I know when it’s me experiencing those moments I find it hard to see the humor while it’s happening- I know you understand exactly what I’m talking about!! I swear even down to the MIA husband who never seems to be around during such times!!!! I feel you!!!! Appreciate you putting yourself and your story out there it helps me feel I’m not the only one living this wildly loud n at times crazy life hahaha you said it perfectly when you said that you and cooper DONT BLEND!! Me and my son Colt also DONT BLEND even when I wish it was so….absolutely dead on when said autism is SO HUMBLING! Each and everyday I am constantly humbled lol you’re not alone and I have so much respect for you, your channel and all the other extra you make time to do!!! Bravo mama 👏🏻

Waiting and anxiety allll high part of autism. Alyssa was sounds younger and crowds not so much any more . Yes our autism kids are very very smart despite the × diagnosis and autism . Don't let anyone telllll you otherwise

My comment is not to judge but to ask a serious question, because I don't have an autistic child so I don't know. I realize that they often aren't in control of their emotions. There's some trigger to a meltdown, which is different from a tantrum, and you just have to comfort and wait it out. But you are aware that what Cooper did was deliberate, from the look at the beginning to the hand-wiping at the end. He may not have known how slick the alley was, but he knew he was misbehaving. Is there any point where autistic children can be held accountable? Not for emotions and actions they can't control, but he was clearly in control here. I mean, did he still get his chicken nuggets??

Are you asking me if I withheld food from a child as a form of discipline? No.

@@findingcoopersvoice I posted at the risk of being misunderstood, so please let me explain. The point was not about the chicken nuggets. I thought of that as a snack, not a meal. It’s as if a kid misbehaves and you say “no ice cream today,” not “sorry, no dinner for you.” I have an adult daughter with special needs, not autistic, so I’m really just curious about parenting. I imagine if Sawyer had done the same thing, there wouldn’t have been laughter and rewards at the end. Though maybe I’m wrong. And it’s not like Cooper committed some major crime, but clearly he did know what he was doing. You acknowledged as much yourself. He’s a smart boy. So I just wondered how you know when consequences (punishment) are necessary, and when to laugh it off.

You should definitely reach out to the bowling alley again and ask them if they have a video that they could send you of that. I’m sure they would be more than happy to do that for you. 🫶🏽
