It's like Punch Out, when fighting the harder bosses a couple mistakes is enough to lose. In return Mac has super armor in some of his attacks, his tilts are pretty strong, his counter has pretty good range, a KO punch, and finally his speed allows him to both run away and rush down opponents. Mac can punish super hard but he can also be punished super hard. A true example of an extremely high risk high reward character. So how do you not make mistakes, be patient. Some characters are not meant to play like everyone else.

The justification for the name is given by Hanneman if I remember correctly, it's because Byleth, before Sothis awakening, was basically emotionless, so he would cut down every enemy with a completely stoic face and with ease too given he's been trained by Jeralt and has the crest of flames. Imagine you're in a battle and this guy just come and start killing so many people by himself, showing no mercy and to top it all, a face completely blank, I'd say that the name is completely earned. The in game way of showing us I would say isn't as good, but it does work, basically Byleth starts with really high stats, has really good growth rates, and really, he's just one of the best units in the game (the best in my opinion since he's available in every route). If that isn't enough to convince you, there's also fe3h's spin off, fe warrior three hopes, which really show us what Byleth is capable of

Byleth's moniker is very intriguing when dissecting. Byleth's very name comes from a demon, yet Byleth in FE is a human being. That, along with the fact that Byleth isn't fond of being referred to as such makes it more interesting. They're a human being named after a demon, yet their infamousy as a mercenary with them not emoting much made people not want to see them as anything more than a demon. A very cool yet sad moniker.

Explaining a possible change on some picks. 1) Shulk. He is a very multilayered character. And even outside its series, “visionary” is a very cool title that has is used. Guess if you have a high Rick and Morty IQ then it is way more enjoyable. And in game context it’s also better since the context of that power changes, from borrowed power to something that actually belongs to him, to finally something he willingly gives up. 2) Cloud, similar praise that Shulk has. Except they differ on the theme of FF7, a game about identity. So being called 1st class is actually a classic Cloud roast on context because of a fake identity, but also works for clueless Resequel only players since they messed up the story. So it goes up or down depending on personal opinion. 3) Joker’s title isn’t actually joker’s. That title belongs to Arsene, both the stand and the fictional character that the stand is based on. “The great phantom thief” and “gentleman thief”. But if they went on a more Joker route he could have been given a lot more titles like the “Wild card” that all persona protagonists are. But that’s very context dependent, which is to say the given title works for casuals like the guy ranking them, so the title can go up or down depending on the person, but leaning more to applauding it more since again, the given title works for people who don’t know Joker.

Here are some that I would've gone with for certain fighters instead of what we got: Diddy Kong: The Jungle Racer - A reference to Diddy Kong Racing, which also happened to be Banjo's first appearance. It also emphasizes his agility and speed while sounding way flashier than just "The Acrobat". Doctor Mario: The Painkiller Killer, or The Toughest Pill - He's here to BRING the pain, not kill it! MUCH more badass than "The Prescriber", although I felt like they were onto something because it feels almost like they were edging toward a WWE name there. Shiek: Master of Disuise - Sounds cooler than what they got, plus it's a reference to the reason why Shiek even exists: in Ocarina of Time, Princess Zelda adopted the disguise of Shiek to evade detection from Ganondorf. King K. Rool: The Kremling Kommander - WHY DIDN'T THEY USE A K INSTEAD OF A C, IT SHOULD'VE BEEN KOMMANDER, THAT'S ONE OF K. ROOL'S BIG SCHTICKS! *C'MON!* Banjo & Kazooie: Perfect Sync - This name is just acknowledging their practically flawless teamwork. They always seem to be on the exact same page for whatever move they're about to do together. Imagine having to do that with someone, even your best friend! You'd probably have a LOT of trouble coordinating attacks together like B&K do! Pikachu: The Yellow Bolt - No brainer. Falco: The Ace of Space - Similar to what we got, but it sounds almost like Ace of Spades, which makes it cooler imo. Steve: The Builder of Worlds, or The Landshaper, or The Terraformer -Any of these makes him sound more grand, plus the Builder of Worlds is a nod to a Terraria boss, the Eater of Worlds. Pac-Man: The Yellow Chomper - Just sounds cooler. Female Wii-Fit Trainer: The Zen Warrior, or Perfect Balance - Cooler than Yoga Warrior. No other notes. Bowser: Tyrant Koopa King - Still keeps the part about him being King of the Koopas, but it has more flair to it with tyrant added, plus it's a reference to what the literal translation of Tyrannosaurus Rex is: Tyrant Lizard King.

For Ike, his Japanese title is Hero of the Blue Flames. This is a reference to his game's Japanese title Path of the Blue Flames and the various depictions of the Goddess of Chaos' power as blue flames (the light coming from the Tellius Fire Emblem, the power the goddess grants to Ike at the end of the game, etc.) It's actually interesting that he's been called the Radiant Hero since Awakening since IIRC the end of Radiant Dawn does refer to him as the Hero of Blue Flame. Also this is the reason why Eruption has blue flames. Perhaps the "of Legend" part of his title was included because thats how he's referred to in Lucina and Robin's reveal trailer for Sm4sh. Definitely not needed though. One thing for Sheik's that I didn't realize is that "Illusive" could be pun. The first part being a play on the word "illusion," which if I had to guess plays on her ninja-like fighting style. The second being a play on the word "elusive," which refers to how in Ocarina of Time she was the last of Sheikah left and secretly being Zelda who has evaded Ganondorf's capture until the very end. Missed opportunity for Chrom's to use the word "Exalt." I guess you could argue it might spoil, but Lucina is there so... yeah.
