Is there a way to install a power LED on the kit like to OG Gameboy?

It does look like newer Versions of the FPGBC board have these test points exposed, at least the non black models, based on pictures on the Funnyplaying website. So it could be a much more straight forward install on those.

I really like my Analogue Pocket fpga makes all the difference and the display is great.

None whatsoever. I didn't beat the game but I did still do double digits in it. If there are issues, I didn't find any.

It's a shame that they don't make an LED kit specifically for the FPGBC, or that they didn't think to integrate LEDs in to the motherboard itself like they did with the custom GBA motherboard that they make.But this is a cool mod nonetheless, and I'd attempt it but I'm still pretty new to tinkering with small electronics like this. With my luck I would probably damage the traces when scraping the PCB to expose them.
