He’s not had it easy has he! Above all, I think he’s the only chance we’ve got, would you rather have Corbin then?

@@theaveragebear7158 given the policies in which they voted for? Probably. Given the current situation of Brexit at the time of the general election? Definitly not Even though I had no faith in Boris at the time, he was a lot more likely to engage with pushing Brexit forward, with or without a deal, whilst Corbyn would probably delay the negotiations, and from what we've seen so far the pound sterling would continue to drop. At least there is the slight chance that we could see the pound's value increase again after we officially leave once this handover period is over, instead of mingling in this uncertain purgatory. However, I do believe that Boris has been quite lackluster about his role in the pandemic response. The lockdown occured much too late, which meant that it took much too long for deaths and infections to fall to safe levels, and his refusal to hold Cummings accountable for breaking the rules put in place by the government was what ultimately sealed him as a lost cause in the eyes of the British people, as when those who make the rules break them, why shouldn't they? Hence the swarms at the beaches, and an apparent disregard of social distancing during the BLM protests. (These protests are important and I fully support the message, but until we see that these protests have no effect on the rate of covid deaths(which seems unlikely) I cannot get behind such large numbers)
