The only thing she's guilty of is trying to repeat what Boris Johnson did - selling a lie. She didn't wreck a thing - Conservative party members have consistently voted for candidates who believe that Britain is some United-States tier country that can write its own rules, constrained only by the slowness of the countries around it. The only thing she's guilty of is believing in that. What's more, half the country voted for that during Brexit. The British people, left and right, need to start recognising that this is nothing but the result of the things they've repeatedly voted for, or allowed to happen with the indifferent or immature way they've reacted to unreasonable ideas.

I wouldn't be surprised if she has a psychological break and ends up in care in the next weeks. She seemed to be almost smirking as she resigned, as if she doesn't realise the damage that she has done. There is self belief, and then there's a psychologic aberration where you living in a fantasy that none of what has happened is your fault. Even with that aberration, it was probably a tough couple of weeks. But sympathy is limited when she could cynically sack Kwasi even though the top rate reduction was her idea, against his objections. I think it would be good for her Walter Mitty style mental condition to never be let near a ministry again. How long before the oligarch wives and Mayfair financiers turn their back on her. Of course, she is responsible for the carnage she has produced but let's look back only two months when she was openly campaigning for this policy. The party members who elected her and the party that backed her afterwards should be held responsible, too. She carried out what she had announced beforehand and now nobody wants to recognize that.

instead of apologizing for her incompetence, she blamed it on someone else's.. this was a kind of cheap rhetoric you'd find in autocratic state

You knew Truss was going to be terrible but the speed of, holy shit. Shortest serving PM ever. Utter humiliation.

She has been treated unfairly and cruelly and not given a chance after only 45 days.i would never apply for a PM job in UK anymore.better be a plumber and have peace of mind.
