We watched your video as part of our lesson on Gases during remote learning. One of my students commented the following: "I have noticed that the guy in the video keeps saying that matter is made up of stuff which is correct but it isn't really the right word to use, he should be saying matter is made of mass, which is made of atoms."

I need help. How can you explained to philosophy students? Science said Gas has no definite shape or volume. When sample of a gas heated at constant pressure, the average kenitic energy of its molecule increases, and the volume of the gas increases. I know science can calculate gas. But how come the volume of gas increases yet according to science gas has no definite shape or volume.
