I love the idea of doing spotlights on quilters! I’ve always been fascinated with the history of quilts and the quilters who made them. It’s so cool that she wrote the details of making her quilts. Based on what you shared, she was an incredibly talented lady. Can’t wait for more videos like this.

Erica thank you for sharing the two books. I have the Signs an Symbols but not Dr Nora which I did order . I was a young girl in Missouri and remembered the KC Star Sunday pattern. In 2002 I did KC Star block of the month. Thank you, keep doing and being you.

I really love this I feel the same way about Ringgold I think this is a great way to get some other inspirations out there. I will be getting a longarm soon, literally purchasing it on layaway from a colleague. You should do a video on what you wished you knew before you began using a longarm. Little intimidated but a lot excited. I have so many quilt tops that i had to go to drastic measures
