Congratulations on the day. It’s good to see family out doing stuff together. Not much of that goes on in the states much anymore. GOD BLESS.

Another dandy video, well done. Great to see you pulling a couple of beavers through the ice. Used to love a good meal of beaver stew.

+Leonard Howlett Thanks Leonard. I was just looking at another channel kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3_FpYyMgbuojZY It's called "Meat Trapper". I recommend it if you are not already a sub. With fur prices tanking this year you have to try and maximise profit. One way is "Beaver Burgers" and your suggestion of Beaver Stew. Don Keller says Beaver in the Spring tastes like a Poplar tree ! I remember in Newfoundland eating Seal. If it was first boiled then roasted with onions and other ingredients it was almost edible.

Of thoughs are 330's , you must have extremely strong hands . Never seen anyone set them by hand like that ?

Just south of #7 Campbellford area, nice looking catches. Hope those wind turbines stay away from that area. I plan on moving up that way and would hate to see those ugly things scattered around the beautiful landscape. Cheers!!

I wonder what happened to this channel? Hope George is ok? Too bad George didn't continue to record Klayotn and his Grams...they were a good pair out on the line.

Hi Doug, Just noticed your comment. I filmed videos to help promote the area especially if there was something interesting to work with. I also wrote articles for publication ...especially about local interest. Perhaps I'll get back at it again if the subject is worthwhile. Yeah...I'm ok ! Thanks for asking. My wife and I built another small house in the wilderness the last few years, have a woodworking shop, garden. Telling a story via video or writing is a time and emotion consuming task. Still, I intend to get back at it. Klayton, his Gram and family are doing well and enjoying life in Denbigh.
