Furby Fix with a Paper Clip 📎

A simple and unique repair that I've created which repairs your Furby with just a PAPER CLIP & ELASTIC BAND!. This repair is shown on a Furby Connect but it will also work on Furby Boom models too and possibly even older ones as they share a similar design.

Thanks! Daughters Furby Connect just went silent on us. If I tap the battery compartment he talks a bit. Seems like it's probably the same thing. Any idea if the speaker designs are similar across all models??? I saw another video where someone popped the cover off of the speaker and set a small steel bearing (BB pellet size) in the center of speaker. The magnet on backside of speaker keeps it snug on the plastic surface of speaker and gets the sound back. Seems like your idea using the pin to press speaker in worked to the same effect. I'm halfway tempted to roll a small piece of foil and push that towards the center and then just bend it down on the top-side and tape. I'm imagining the Furby taking a tumble and the paperclip stabbing his speaker and permanently silencing him 😂😂 that would be my luck!!! Bad enough I gotta give this guy open heart surgery!!! Ha ha the ball bearing is my other video. The same principal applies though in that the middle of the speaker needs to be pushed into the back of the speaker. I don't think foil would be strong enough. If you open it up and just try pushing the paper clip then that will clarify that the speaker is the problem. You can then decide which fix will be best for you. I hope that helps 👍😁

Yes as they are pretty much the same design inside. I do however also have another video which shows a Furby Boom being repaired, check my other videos to find it.

@@Jaffabite my 2012 furby dosent move, can talk, but it dosent move, its awakemfor a few seconds, but then it falls asleep with no animation or sound, does this work with 2012?

A silly question but have you refreshed the batteries? if so try checking any cables inside in case any have a loose connection. Good luck
