New Line & Beat meta meant a lot of easy time save alongside generally solid performance outside a couple egregious moments. I used to scoff at the idea of sub 27 but it looks very doable now.

I'd like to see this with more informative commentary, like why do you dash back and forth when shooting at boss #2? Why does boss #5 stand still and let you shoot him for a phase? Why spam the laser instead of holding it on boss #10?

Yeah I get that. I think if you want more explanations, you could check out BIGHONKINBURGER's run at AGDQ 2017, or my run at SGDQ 2019. I also made a lengthy tutorial video that covers most of the basics. For the higher level techniques, usually it just comes down to 'this is the fastest way to do it'

I did a tutorial video "Furi Speedrunning Tutorial" that covers the basics. Once you get that stuff down, most of what's going on is pretty self-explanatory, just a matter of execution. Unless there's anything specific you want to know?

Don't dodge or parry, just shoot with the charged gun, purpusefully not aiming at the enemy. Gotta love whenever most optimal way to play the game is actively anti-fun.

@@boopymcdoopy4983 This game is entirely built around getting high ranks, low times and speedrunning. Good games don't allow the player to optimize the fun out of the game, or force to not use mechanics that actually made the game fun and interesting in the first place. "It's a speedrun" sounds like a lame excuse for bad game design.

@@czarkowskipawelyt wtf are you talking about bruh people will find exploits in literally ANY video game. Like duh glitches/OP exploits slip through the cracks 99.99% of the time. So let’s say sure, it really sucks that to beat the game as fast as humanly possible you have to use an exploit. Look up any other speedrun that isn’t glitchless it’s gonna have that shit in there somewhere. Just a really odd thing to complain about considering you’re not even playing the game.

Game literally invites you to find the best way to play it, and it turns out playing that way sucks. There are many games that don't have this issue.
