How the hell do you get off a charged shot with a parry in the 1st and 2nd phases of The Chain?

It's all just timing. There's a very small window where you're able to hit the boss without stunning them, parrying is just an extra input along with it

It's definitely possible on console although the frame rate lock will make it a little more difficult to dash as fluidly

Because 9 hours is your first try. You'll learn each boss' patterns, and you'll figure out the full depth of the combat mechanics with practice.
