A Mad Max saga with no Mad Max.

It was good, but not great. The problems I had were: 1. It was a prequel: I want to see a story that goes forward. Why not show me what Furiosa is doing now that she’s in a leadership position at the Citadel? What are her problems? How does she manage the limited resources? Does she feel a need to try and bring stability to the wasteland? How does she go about doing so? 2. Practical vs CG: You could tell in several places they were using a volume or green screen. Much more so than Fury Road. 3. Runtime: we didn’t need 30-40 minutes of a young Furiosa. I think it could have been 15-20 minutes. Those were my major issues. Overall, it’s a solid flick with great production values. Chris Hemsworth stole the show for me.
