Her story of how she appeared on Dune is one of the most interesting stories that I've ever heard in the film industry. She basically met with Denis who wanted her in the film but didn't think she could make it thanks to her commitment to Furiosa, but then she practically begged him that she could still do it, and then after she got back to LA from filming Furiosa in Australia, Denis immediately reached out to her, asked if she could get to Namibia immediately to shoot the scene, and she did just that. This is the perfect example of someone who's completely devoted to being on whatever shows or movies they can appear in, which is no surprise in this case when you're talking about a film like Dune. By the way, she's definitely going to be in the next Dune film. Denis himself said he's looking forward to working with both her and Florence Pugh again. I am definitely looking forward to that, as well, as they're my two favorite actresses in the business.

Not sure Anya will see this, but there is a 3 step "trick" to an easy, "perfect" parallel park. (For Americans). Once lined up with the rear of the vehicle you will pull behind....... 1 - Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right. (Clockwise) Slowly back up. 2 - when your right shoulder is even with the other car's rear bumper, stop. Turn the steering wheel 2 full times to the left. (Counter clockwise). Continue to slowly back up. 3 - when your front bumper just passes the other car's rear bumper, stop, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. (Counter clockwise) Finish backing up to your perfect park. Works great in big-city, small-space parking spots. Hope this helps someone.
@scottjenkins30957 ай бұрын
She's not gonna fk you.
@markd.95387 ай бұрын
Sounds good... the only flaws / extra considerations I can think of: (1) I was taught that turning the steering wheel when the car was stationary / stopped was an incorrect thing to do - it can put a fair amount of stress on many different parts of the steering system, resulting in unnecessary wear and tear over time. So always try to be rolling (even slowly) when turning the wheel, to allow everything to move the way it should. (2) Different cars have different turning radii, so a full lock out in the first part of the process above may not have exactly the same result in every car - so its best to get to know each vehicle and practice your parks, to get the best angle of attack for each car; (3) FWD vs RWD drivetrains operate a little differently as well, so be prepared for how that will influence the angle and approach. Lastly, (4) the width of the car from the kerb and the already-parked car is a consideration when you start the parallel park - a mini cooper has a massively different width to a Hummer or a Dodge RAM. So learning the car you are in and getting a feel for its dimensions is also an important aspect for setting up the ideal starting position.
@fdoe91847 ай бұрын
@@markd.9538 obviously, if next to a mini Cooper, you'd be a tad further away from it as for turning the wheel while stationary.....once you get the hang of it, you won't need to do it. (The same way you are taught - hands on the wheel at 10 & 2. Once you learn, you hold the wheel with one hand while the other is tapping the roof in time to the song on the radio) My instructions are for first-timers, beginners.
