The fact that early reactions to this actually include some criticisms suggests they might be somewhat reliable. I tend to take things with a grain of salt if it's nothing but over the top praise like The Flash or Batman v Superman.

Honestly, I fall prey to reactions and critique too much. If I had listened all the time then I might have missed one of my favorite films, Fury. But critique can be valid. It's a thin grey line to walk sometimes

Granted, the "bad cgi" is more of a product of the fact that fury road was a 11 year development hell for certain reasons. one. All Practical little cgi. (80% total practical) Two. Problems with the metal beasts. You don't just take what is already a giant metal death machine and modify it to unrecognizable lengths expecting no problems. Three. Being shot in the closet place to hell we'll ever get. (Seriously. There's a reason all the major cities of Australia are majorly along the coasts. That country is literally designed to unalive you) Going cgi heavy for this movie may not be the most favorable to avoid another 11 year hell (technically, it's more than 15 years... if you take into account that the 11 was just development alone.)

Well Miller wrote Furiosa when he was doing Fury Road that was back in 2010. He had this story gestating for that long. He also has another installment written as well. He always had 3 stories which aligns with Hardy signing a 3 picture deal.

Chris hemsworth only knows how to play Thor. His performance is exaggerated, wiht a different accent. The character does silly things . He could even be the villain , a killer. But at the end of the day, it looks like the evil version of thor. I can't take him seriously.
