@@twomandemtalkmovies well Miller did try a different story telling method. I'd say for first time mad max fans it's a great idea that way I kinda builds up to the more action pack sequence.

Fury Road set SUCH a high bar, so this was always going to struggle to live up to it - and it didn't. That said I still enjoyed it. One of the best things about these films, for me, is that they don't hide major action scenes in darkness. The stark blazing orange of the outback, the azure blue sky, you get to see everything. That was a major plus of Fury Road for me, and they did it again with this. Just as a pure spectacle, its wondrous to behold. Chucking it on my 4k OLED is an absolute treat. I'd agree Hemsworth slightly underwhelmed in this. You missed mentioning his finest performance though - playing James Hunt in Rush. That has been by far and away his career highlight. And for me, he'd be a fantastic Bond. There, I said it. Anyhoo, I'd give Furiosa a solid 7/10.

I've seen Furiosa three times now, and I think it's better than Fury Road. I don't expect a lot of people to agree with me, but that's my opinion. I love the Mad Max universe, and we get so much more of it in this movie. All the other Mad Max movies are very limited in terms of locations and settings, while Furiosa is a lot more varied. It lets you see a lot more of the world and its layout. Fury Road is a great action movie, but it's extremely confined. You're on the war rig for the entire movie. Here we get to go to The Green Place, The Biker Lair, The Citadel, Gastown, The Bullet Farm and see a lot more of the Wasteland. And we also get some great war rig scenes. It's such a treat for anyone who likes this world. Chris Hemsworth was amazing as Dementus. People complain about Max not being in the movie, but Hemsworth alone is worth the price of admission. Dementus is a far more interesting villain than Immortan Joe, who doesn't really have a character beyond being a generic bad guy. I also think Anya Taylor-Joy is better than Charlize Theron as Furiosa. She fits much better into this world. Theron did well, but her accent didn't fit and she doesn't really look like she fits into the world of Mad Max. Taylor-Joy was a lot more convincing, and she's a great actress. She nailed it. I wouldn't have minded this movie being even longer. It was superb.

Surely you are only creating clickbait, unusual to have 2 guys with the same view or is one guy and another sheepish view of an excellent movie 8.5/10 and great character acting by Hemsworth.

No click bait, if you watched us you would know we don’t always agree & it’s ok for us to disagree with YOU on how good a film is…bottom line Furiosa has only made $160 million WORLDWIDE, so if it was a unanimous excellent movie, it would have been a lot more successful!
