It was felyne adrenaline (heroics) + dereliction, since dereliction drains your hp over time to buff your damage it works perfectly with heroics

Nice to see that the old playstyle still works, now with harvest moon of course, but still, I tried playing and using both sacred and special sheathe and I just can't, I either stay on special sheathe and focus on helmbreaker or go full on sacred sheathe Would love to see a run without adrenaline and dereliction

For sacred sheathe i can give you an advice play with evade window and evade extender both max and you will land way more sacred hits than before :3 it is realy funny ^-^

It's faster than normal sheath and you can draw weapon again faster. As long as the player model's hands don't fully let go the weapon, it doesn't count as sheathing weapon

@@karl5064 i think people already done the math on that? that having any skill skill (Maxed on 3 slot) cannot be followed by a maxed out (3 of 3) skill. so at best its gonna be : QS 3 , WW 2 . with 2 2 1 , 2 2 0 / 3 0 0. 3 2 1 is posible but at extremely thin chance. edit. well i havent seen any talisman calculation on sunbreak so thats it tht. the best i got is WE 2 , QS 2 with 2 1 0 slot

Hey Peppo, I noticed you are still using the classic switch skill combos (save for the addition of Harvest Moon). Is that because you've already established the muscle memory for those, or is Sacred Sheathe just not as good?

Sacred Sheathe costs too much gauge and takes a long time to execute even with QS3. Remember that when you lose red gauge, you also lose the damage multiplier that comes with it. Plus, it only gives hyperarmor instead of a full counter window, which means it WILL kill you if you're at 1 HP from Dereliction and Adrenaline and you try to hyperarmor through an attack. In a speedrun, it'd be better best used as a finisher when the monster is down and almost dead.

Damn so if you perfectly time the iai spirit slash it doesn’t consume one level of the spirit gauge and it even moves the gauge up ??? That’s insane. I haven’t played Rise but in World the spirit slash always consumes the gauge, but he’s using it to fill the gauge or at least not consuming one level. That’s crazy, longsword looks more op than ever
