Most people talk way to fast and jump around from topic to topic. Nice Job Sam keep them coming. And remember if you don't use it you loose it. If you share it its yours for ever. If you keep it to your self there is a chance you may loose it . I had to learn this the hard way.

Thanks Sam --- as a note - some of these air switches has two contacts - one on the front one on the back check both! On my Carrier unit the yellow jumper powered both switches - then there was a brown (signal to control board) and orange (signal to control board) two different outputs signals. Inducer housing pressure and collector box pressure (check all 3 tubing- green, black, and black square tubing vacuumed sensing signal). Blow them out (toward the inducer housing) and you can check them with a OHM meter by gently sucking on the hose and hearing them click. Make sure the hoses are good and tight - a very small vacuum leak can cause them to not work!

Sam your a good teacher,u speak and teach at good pace.Your easy to follow and understand. Although you are very wrong,an inducer running or verifying(what u call it) isn't what closes a psi switch .The psi switch has a tube going to it that tube is connected to the housing of the inducer, when the inducer runs in a system that doesn't have a chimney problem, chimney pipe problem, heat exchanger problem etc the inducer running creates a vacuum that the closes the psi switch normally open contacts. Not all blower mtr run on a call for heat for 90 seconds, thats that furnace, thats not all.Roll outs, high limits psi switches are not INTERLOCKED ,thats called wired in series. In the beginning u said u were troubleshooting a board,so why would u use LINE voltage ground and not your LOW VOLTAGE NEUTRAL?Your low voltage neutral is common.Your discussing a gas fired furnace and u speak about the flame rod for 15 seconds? That rectification signal keeps the dam thing on,if thats not a good signal bck tothefurnace it won't wrong for 12 seconds. For some reason the flame rolls bck,FOR SOME REASON,howabout for these reasons,a bird nest in your chimney, water in your chimney, a brick chimney that fell apart,a cracked heat exchanger, a blocked secondary,a drft mtr with no squirrel cage that doesn't use a psi switch but rather an end switch.AND FORALLTHESE REASONS THATS WHY A ROLL OUT WOULD POP(the resettableswitches)Start up process, the industry lingo we call that a sequence of events.I JUSTHEARD INTERLOCK AGAIN,roll outs wired in series.GOOD JOB BRO,keep upthe good work

This is awesome! Just a suggestion that what would have made it more awesome is a 15 second talk on what each of those pieces does like "flame sensor is there to detect that you actually have ignition and flame and if not it turns the furnace off to prevent gas leak"... things like that.

I’m very impressed with your thorough, methodical, and informative video, I don’t mean to nitpick but instead of using electrical tape to close “hold in on position” your furnace power switch, might I suggest that you just try pulling it out, same as setting a fan limit switch to manual. Keep up the good work, maybe it will get some of the people who bother me at ridiculous times to realize that they could do it themselves, I was called at three o’clock in the morning on Christmas Eve to fix a boiler and again on Christmas Day to do a forced hot air furnace and I’m not even a furnace technician. . . I’m just “Blessed” with the ability to fix things.
