So glad I found this! I have wicker baskets that are painted white and knew the wicker would probably fall apart if I tried to strip the paint off. This looks way more achievable.

Amazing.. Never sell in England for that money people are too frugal and tight lol 😅 Americans have a lot more spare cash than we do due to much higher cost of living over here, but it was a great project even if to do for yourself or to sell an old one that you might have laying around even if for not quite as much profit as you managed to make it's still a great idea! I just purchased a wicker peacock chair today and it has some spray paint on it. Do you happen to know how to remove the paint on wicker?

Thanks for watching! I haven’t removed paint from wicker but I would think it would depend in part what you mean by “some spray paint.” Is your chair painted all over or did it just get painted in certain spots?

My other thought would be a super fine steel wool - the 000 kind. I’ve had luck using that to get paint off wood. Good luck! I’d love to know what works!

I should have if I didn’t but it’s also very obvious in person that it’s painted. As with all things I want happy buyers so if someone arrives thinking they want something and then decide they don’t after looking it’s no problem. Thanks for asking.
