Where do all the trees come from in urban areas?

1. Reclaimed/Salvaged wood. Wood framing, floorboards, etc. in old buildings get removed for various reasons. Most people removing that wood bring it to a landfill. But it can be re-used. No need to throw it away. 2. Fallen trees or tree branches, or trees that are removed. These days those often get thrown in a wood chipper machine. But the tree trunks/branches can be milled into lumber to make furniture or other building materials.

Check out Room and Board’s website and you’ll see this all directed towards financially well off people. Outrageously over priced finished product that average people can’t afford. I’m sure there is a lot of overhead getting this product to market, but don’t fool yourself, this is designed to make lots of money. Anyone know how much they pay their employees?

Urban lumber? Taking from property?? Are they replacing it? It's stealing? Find the owners. So many large park trees been cut down in urban parks,,, homes of urban birds, squirrel, insects.
