Wow, what a deal you got on the record cabinet. I love the paint colors you chose. I’m a creamy, tan and taupe gal too. That’s what we chose for our interior paint colors in our house. It’s easier to change your draperies, rugs and decor rather than repainting an entire room. That paper is really gorgeous too. You will have no issues selling that beautiful piece.

Lovely!! I recently did something similar to an antique music cabinet that belonged to my great aunt. I printed a vintage landscape painting at Office Max in a large size and decoupaged it on the front. I left my cabinet natural wood because it looked so so good with the painting. Also, moving is the worst, We just moved to our new house last month. I unpacked the last box last week and it felt so so good!! I have a studio now, to work in, which is such a huge blessing!!!

Hi Bailey, I loved this cupboard before you did anything but afterward, WOW, it’s stunning. The horse is absolutely beautiful. Good luck with your move, it’s a job I hate with a vengeance. I used to not mind it but now I have no one to help me and I can’t do much anymore, geez the last couple of days I have hardly been able to walk so packing up and moving is virtually impossible but I know I have to do it soon enough and I’m not looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to more of your furniture makeovers I love seeing videos like that. I never knew they made decoupage paper that size either. Are you moving very far when you move?? Very blessed to have a small workshop for me to craft and film in. Everything has fallen right into place. I have been wanting to make this move for a few years. God gave me to courage to do it! Whew, Bailey, thought you weren’t going to publish today! And, it would have been perfectly understandable if you didn’t while in the midst of moving. I would have been disappointed, though! That is one gorgeous piece. Wondered when you first started if decoupage would be involved and you didn’t disappoint! I love that piece and with your talent to recreate it, I can see selling it. I couldn’t sell it myself. I would just have to keep it. Lol. Perhaps that’s the reason you couldn’t cuss a cat in my house. Thanks for sharing your makeover. I love watching you Bailey you're so creative. The cabinet is beautiful but I think some of those straight flat pulls at the top of the cabinet would have been better so that you didn't have to cover up the horse's face with those knobs.

I’ve had several people recommend white knobs to disguise them and I think that’s a good idea. I had a hard time choosing with what I had in hand. That’s so much for watching!!!

Ugh! Moving is for the birds 😖. Hopefully you are getting settled and feeling at home 😊. It can be difficult to feel creative until your surroundings are calm. I’ve moved 20+ times in my 46 years and I’m an artist so I completely understand how hard it can be to keep your creative juices flowing while in transition. But, it can also be wonderful to make your new place a home ❤. Just a different outlet for your creativity.

I think your cabinet looks really good except for the knobs. The gold knobs stick out like a sore thumb on the horse's face. I think it would have looked better if you would have used a knob that blended in with the horse. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your channel.

Good point! Someone else suggested white knobs and I plan to switch them out. I feel that’s why the piece hasn’t sold yet. Thanks for the input!!

@@ReclaimedGrace​​⁠I agree with the comment above. White knobs would blend much better because of the position of them on the horses face, they stand out a lot. Try spray paint these to see if it would make a difference. Or if you can find clear plastic in round or square shape where the color of the horse comes through and blends better. I believe that's the reason that hasn't sold yet. Market it as a dry bar cabinet. I think it will sell faster. You did an amazing job on it! I love that horse. I was thinking to do a dresser for my grandson with it. He loves horses! Good luck with your move.
