I made this using your instructions thank you so much. Prices have gone up but still made it under $30 which beats the $180-$260 range that you’ll see on Amazon for pressboard versions. We are so happy. Wish I could post a pic!! ❤

Wow!! That was husband and wife team work!! I love the effort that you both made and it looks so beautiful!! Way to go Kathryn and Charlie. When he almost drilled his hand, I decided that a drill is not the power tool, for an amateur like me. I once assembled a round table from Kmart, an entry table from ACE, and a book shelf, from Better Homes and Gardens. Don't give that power drill to Charlie any more!! That was a close call!! Love to you and your sweet family!!💟

@esmeraldagreen1992 Жыл бұрын
@OldDunollieman If you use thicker wood pieces instead of furring strips, you can make the table as sturdy as you want. This table is designed to go behind a couch and against the wall, and it doesn't have much need to be super sturdy.

Pointer - from another DIY thrifty Mom. Get a Kreg pocket hole hug next time. It’s super easy and allows you to hide your screws and makes the table even stronger. The small one is only $20 but you can use it on all your projects in the future. To save money get cheaper wood screws with the matching tip to the jig. I LOVE mine!
@juliepiper7058 Жыл бұрын
That’s what I was thinking, but they did emphasize the “no skills” but I gotcha, for those of you who don’t want to see the little screws on the side, yes, the pocket hose would be nice😉 great job you guys, I bet you were just biting at the bit for your kids to go to bed, lol!
