Thank you! Best hacks to get rid off black mould in the bathroom please?
@AskAngelaBrown
@AskAngelaBrown Жыл бұрын
Here are some top-notch hacks for dealing with black mold. First, create a powerful mixture by combining bleach with water (1:10 ratio). Scrub those moldy areas, ensuring you rinse thoroughly. Another fabulous option is using undiluted white vinegar. Simply spritz it onto the mold, leave it for an hour, scrub away, and rinse. For a natural approach, whip up a paste using borax and water, apply it, gently scrub, and rinse it off. And lastly, 3% hydrogen peroxide sprayed onto the mold, left for 10 minutes, scrubbed, and rinsed will also do the trick. Remember to prioritize safety and address any moisture sources. Happy cleaning!

A lot of wooden furniture is varnished, stained and waxed or oiled already, and it helps to know or be able to judge what it was previously treated with. A damp microfibre cloth then a linen tea towel to dry it off works for pretty much everything I have - I too noticed that the film residue from sprays attracts dust and I don't want to be spending any more time cleaning my house than is absolutely necessary. However I have wooden kitchen worktops that look great but periodically need oiled with food safe worktop oil (expensive and time consuming!) so I avoid using harsh cleaning fluids on them to lessen the maintenance requirements.

Over the years I have searched thrift and furniture shops for solid wood furniture, and have no regrets. Veneer over wallboard will not stand the tests of time and cannot be repaired when the glue falls apart or the vacuum cleaner knocks a piece off the edge of the whatever. Waste of money!

Dearest Angela, sorry, one more question...is there an effective way to clean wood furniture with wood spray buildup in a more gentle way without using a heavy-duty commercial wood stripper solution. Thank you.

What’s better to dust furniture with..The swiffer or the ostrich feather dusters?
@AskAngelaBrown
@AskAngelaBrown 4 жыл бұрын
It's a tough call. One is unfriendly to animals and the other unfriendly to the environment. I choose Swiffer due to the grab and hold technology of the duster, the feather duster just pushes dust around.

Angela Brown i didn’t realize they hurt the animals to get the feathers!!! I thought they just gathered the fallen feathers? That’s so horrible! I feel so bad now and will never purchase another one again!

I’ve only had one cleaning customer ever, but she let candlewax drip all over her beautiful wood dining room table, and wanted me to use pledge and a razor to get it clean, but I was so afraid to ruin it

Dearest Angela, would you please do a video on E-Cloth - a microfiber cloth that disinfects and requires only water to clean. Have you ever used it? What were the results? Thank you.
