@@Cece-td3nw omg, yes! It's like having your favorite rockstar suddenly compliment you, you know? Aaah!! Also there's a trick you can do with text in Chinese videos - pause and use Google Lens from your phone to scan and translate the screen live! You can also emulate Android to run Lens translate on Windows, though it's awkward to use it like that. For selectable text in websites I use a DeepL plugin. Otherwise, an integrated Google translate from chrome browser, but that breaks layout and lots of functionality in Chinese websites.

It wasn't deliberate, the guy in front messed up, he was leaning backwards when he had to lean foward (check everyone else at that moment) and Gintant just corrected him, otherwise they would have bumped heads.

Heh, I don't think he's THAT famous within China yet, but he is quite well known! There are other very famous Chinese fursuiters in their circle. Notably, Fructose has 6 million followers on their version of TikTok. But 银碳Gintan has a lot more recognition in mainstream, from what I can tell. Yeah, he'd just destroy basically anyone. Not only his sheer dancing skill is just amazing, the Kiyo's masterwork suit blows 98% of all western suits right out of the water in my opinion. This is a killer combo. Out of all fullsuit dancers I've ever seen, I think only German Skrat could pose a legitimate challenge.

It's a very energetic dance - together with Maria those are my favorites of his recent dances for sure. Of this specific video, though, I value the last dance the most. He has never made a dedicated video of Gokuraku Joudo and it's very interesting to see a master perform it, especially comparing to how Ruishou does it ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKi4eWOmrbt8l7M ). The moves are taken from official music videos/performances, though I am not certain what criteria selects the specific timestamp everyone is adhering to. These dance moves (and full dances, ofc) are taught in dance schools across China as soon as the track(s) hit mainstream or an already famous group releases a new thing. All of these songs are at the top of K-POP lists in China at the moment, by very famous groups, not something totally random and obscure.
