I have taken the index, out of my Shadow, and with rubber, cement attached it to the back of a £10.00 note. Now it is interchangeable with just about any wallet. Including the Nexus. So nexus has become my everyday carry, contains all the mentalist goodies (including Gossip), and can also do any card to wallet, Shadow style.

@@MagicAvi If you do this, it is a good idea to run a lighter flame along the nylon cut edge( so no fraying). of cause, you can attach it to the back of any flat object in your wallet playing card etc.

In your interview with Paul Gordon, you mentioned a falling out, but never got around to addressing why. Are you able to expand on it?

Very simple really. I got some live performance footage of one of Paul’s routines which he used. He asked me to look at some other routines which I said I would. I got really busy and didn’t have time to do anything. Missed some of his messages because at the time I was performing literally all over the country. I then found out that he blocked me which I took exception to. I was annoyed that I’d got some footage for him already and he had no need to block me just because I’ve been busy and hadn’t got back to him. In fairness I overreacted however I still don’t think that he should’ve blocked me. After that we both kind of ignored each other until lockdown when we both reached out at the same time and sorted out the whole situation. So nothing really too exciting. That’s the whole story

I've gone through all the Magic TV Q&As now as far as I'm aware at least. Sorry in case I came across as dodgy or anything, I sincerely appreciated the Q&As, Marketing videos and interviews plus the Magic TV channel in general. Thank you for giving non-advanced people like me a sincere chance to try to learn in a community which has come to feel like the wild west so to speak - e.g. there was this one time when I called up a more advanced person in the magic community for advice, they said to call next time and so I called at a time frame which they let me know could've have been better. They strongly told me that they were busy and hung up the phone on me. Among other things this and various other experiences and conflicting stories of the magic community helped to keep my confidence down when I felt desperate. Thank you Craig! Raza =)

The point I made is that for $110US I would expect real leather. There is no doubt that leather will outlast vinyl anytime. You claim that you have taken it to three gigs. That's hardly a test for durability. I love the smell of leather in the morning. Great Q&A

Update, Nexus is coming apart, the top corner has split and the stitching has come away, after a very short time. Why design it so it cant fit a Bonsalope? maybe Propdog is not well known outside the UK !!!! Shame as it has great potential.

Hi Craig, your recent video about downloads reminded me of a couple of points that I'd like your thoughts on. Firstly, what do you think of downloads where you need to buy a second download to learn a move to perform the routine? And secondly, what about downloads where it uses something particularly difficult to perform, like a mem deck, without making it clear in the trailer or ad copy? Both have happened to me, and they really are frustrating. I realise they can't list every move in the advert, but especially with a mem deck, there's no way of spotting it from a performance and I don't have the capacity to learn one. Thanks! Rich

Moreover, note from the recent Arthur Miller biography: whenever he wrote a play, he would write his own negative critique -- "...purgative effect, a preemptive strike -- to learn and understand the value."

Hey Craig great show as always. Two things: 1. I would be interested in you giving us more details on Restaurant Magic. 2. I enjoy when you show some of your live performances, however normally the video start with you already in the middle of your magic routine. I think it would be nice to see how you actually approach the group. Perhaps it would be cool to already have your mic on so you can see and here you approach this group. Then as you walk away from the group what you are thinking about it. I’m thinking the way they do in American football where they have a mic on the quarterback so you can hear all the behind-the-scenes stuff. Just a thought, I’m sure you do not need more to think about as you are gigging but if it works out I think it would be very informative.

Q&A, What do you think about "Is that fair" plot? I mean myself, I kinda hate when I see magicians perform for laymen and saying over and over again "is that fair?". Being said that I think its ok between magicians, cause you propaply are demoing something and gonna teach it soon. I think this adds question to spectators head when its not needed.

I think they need to ensure it can fit a Bonsalope, and add elastic to the wallet for out to lunch, so no clip required and pop an index inside. Oh and yes leather ( within the year I recon a leather version)

The plastic UK notes do not fit the wallet for the card inside the bill trick. They are too small to cover the card and too wide to fit smoothly into the load area, and cant be pushed down with the load card.

Great advice on the "approach" my real world experience can be summed up with three spectator reactions, after my quick intro..."Great, I love magic..." a little less enthusiasm, "Let's see what you got"...or extremely rare, "No thanks"... to which I reply, "no problem, maybe we'll catch up later." The "no thank you ."almost never happens. Just do it!

Here’s one for the q&a: With new magic coming out all of the time, sometimes 2-3 quality effects in one week, what is a good process to go through when deciding whether to buy or not? How do you resist the urge to buy something new that has really good reviews. For example, Prohibition Monte, Pi Revelations, Nexus Wallet, Grandfather’s Top, Torn and Restored Changing Card, etc.. Seeing all really neat effects, but resisting the urge to purchase them because they peak your interest? Thank you!

Great video! First of all i really appreciate any advice in regards to getting gigs, wether it be a restaurant or whatever the case may be so i hope you do more of these type of videos. I was actually looking for a course or videos on how to go from a just a casual magician to a working pro magician. And as far as your review on the nexus wallet like you said that is your opinion. I have seen them do the same thing with other reviewes with stack watch and other magic items. Just because they may not like it or use it. They feel that no one should like or want it, and they trash and bag on the person that gives it a good review. Its ridiculous if you do not like something on youtube just move on!
