I just love your sense of humor and comic timing; you're a funny guy yourself! Great reaction! Yes, that was Adam’s brother Chris in the video. The big guy in the overalls at the end was Eric "Buegs" Buegler who is Rob’s best friend. He shows up in some of their videos and occasionally at their concerts. Other funny ones you might enjoy: Country Fried Pop Medley, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget (an original written by Tim), and one of the first things they did when Covid lockdowns started - Quarantine. Tim wrote the lyrics to the tune of Billy Joel’s song Honesty.

That woman's voice you hear at the end of the video is Kristin Denehy, their long-time choreographer. That big guy you noticed in the middle of the dancers is Eric Beugler, a good friend of Rob's and his co-host in the movie review podcast The Avid Indoorsmen. He's appeared in a few other of their videos, dancing and playing an instrument in the group around Tim away from Home Free. Beugs is well know for having no shame at all. When the guys are at the table, Tim sitting in the middle and Chris standing behind him next to the black girl in the blue dress, you may notice that you don't see Chris in the closeup shots. It was a long day, they were filming 2 or 3 videos that day, and Chris was off getting chipotle for everyone's lunch. He give us his behind the scenes insight for Home Free videos on his youtube channel ChrisRuppOfficial. He also sings/plays for two other groups: Cypress Fyre and 7th Ave. He and his sister Tristin are one half of 7th Ave and I hope you can react to the 2 songs of their I love: Uptown Funk and the mashup I Kissed a Girl in the House of the Rising Sun.

@timvanderburg60393 жыл бұрын
"Slap your grandma" is not an UNcommon expression, stemming from a situation that is so stunning that you forget yourself enough to slap your venerated grandmother, but is most often used in the American Deep South/rural communities.

And did you notice what happened to the ham sandwich? Look to the side in the next shot and you will see someone eating it.

'Slap ya Grandma' is an often used expression here in Louisiana usually in sentences such as; 'This gumbo is so good it makes you want to slap ya grandma'. We even have a commercially canned seasoning called 'Slap ya mamma'. I guess the idea is that one's momma failed to produce something this good?
@lisaseverance67853 жыл бұрын
Knew you would love this one! And you did not disappoint! Love your reactions so much!!! If you want more Tim singing, "Hillbilly Bone" is a good choice (plus there is some...hip action that might make you swoon) When you are ready for your mind to be blown, go for "Mayday" and "Snowglobe" but only when you are prepared to hear Tim's full range. You may want to also watch "Do You Hear What I hear" and pick up on what Tim is doing throughout. May take a couple listens though to fully catch it all as it is a more complex arrangement (done by Adam Rupp btw) but soooo worth it! But for more full on fun, "All About The Bass" ""Thank God I'm A Country Boy", "Honey I'm Good" (which mostly sung by Rob) and "This Is How We Roll". They aren't always serious in their songs and if they break on stage, they are seldom serious there either! LOL

My son was out here when this came on and I was like, "This guy is pan. This is going to be awesome." Home Free don't really like those music videos that exploit women, so they decided they wouldn't ask anything of women they wouldn't do themselves, thus why they showed off their own butts in this one. Adam's brother Chris came up with the idea for this, made a list of booty songs, then gave it to Layne Stein of VoicePlay, who did the initial arrangement that Chris and Adam dinked a little bit. The guy in the cutoff overalls (or dungarees as you called them) is Rob's longtime friend and fellow host of the podcast The Avid Indoorsmen Eric "Buegs" Buegler. He's also an a cappella singer in a group called The Sound Exchange. He infamously has no shame, so whenever they need someone to make an absolute fool of themselves in a video, they call Buegs. He shows up in Can't Stop the Feelin', Honey I'm Good, and White Christmas. Probably others, but those are the ones he's easily spotted in. There's a fan filmed concert video where he shows up on stage for this song and utterly steals the show. That was a crazy concert. They gave away Tim's jeans. Edit: The Butts Remix live where Buegs shows up (and Tim is savage to hecklers): kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGS6qHeur85gY8U Also, one you should check out that doesn't have an official video is Guilty Pleasures.
