Kevlar has very poor UV resistance. Is this really woven with Kevlar and not some other polyamide with better UV resistance? I would be worried that sunny weather would degrade the garment to a point where it would be unsafe to use.

It is Kevlar. It’s not going to degrade quickly. In Northern Europe it would take many years for degradation to happen. The same as Kevlar jeans.

Typically the kevlar is wrapped with cotton or other more UV resistant textile. This helps protect it from UV degradation.
