Impossible to actually change the fuses doing it this way! I went in through the engine. 5m Allen to remove top... but could not find the fuses. Think you have to go through the glove box

The lights on my trailer won't come on when I connect it to my hitch; what fuse could that be? Additionally, the phone charger USB doesn;t charge could this be the same fuse perhaps?

If it helps 7 months later, they hide a fuse chart folded up in the rear fuse box on passenger side. The fuse you want is number 14 in the front side fuse panel. See this video. The bad part is you can't see the fuse or pull it out. I need to do more research myself to find out how to pull the panel out.. GGGrrrrrr damn designers.

The compressor or air pump has a "slave relay" to apply power to the pump. That relay is located in the rear fuse panel and is that little black plastic square object at the bottom of the panel. It pulls right out. If that relay's contacts are dirty inside, the pump will not work. I have had success with other relays like this by popping off the cover and cleaning the contacts with a finger nail file/sandpaper.

It's great the BMW tell us where it is in the user guide but no pictures. Woop-de-doo !!!! After checking a couple KZbin vids, I see how to open it. But.. how do you pull fuse number 14 in the back when you can't even see it? Does a person need to take the dash apart or pull the engine???? GGGrrrr damn BMW designers.

could you please refrase the words, i dont understand what do you mean? by the way i dont have this suv anymore and i only showed where its located, dont know to much about this suv. but if you referring if radio has any connection to fuses, then yes it does. not sure which fuse but there should be a fuse for the radio

Everyone… the chart showing the fuse locations and amps is folded up and hidden in the rear fuse panel, passenger side rear. Pull on the inverted handle and lift cloth cover.
