You can grab any fuse the has at least 10 amps and turns on and shuts off with the ignition button switch.

Why are you working in total darkness? Haha Good video and helps a lot. Question tho: is the fuse for my windows here? Wife smokes in her car and it was pouring out so today she waits to tell me at 5:30 that none of her windows work at all. She started the story at 4:45 while it was still light out. Had to wait all that time to get to the punchline! 28 years married and still cant give punchline first and irrelevant detail’s second. Like where she was going and what she was going to buy and why and so on. Leaves out “so my car is broken again and now it’s your problem” til the end.

Lol, Thanks. Yours should be in the glove compartment depending on year and model. Just look for the fuse diagram in the trunk.

@@motorcarnut trunk? 2011 BMW x3 turns out oassenger and rear operate from their respective doors but not from master. Im thinking hairdryer. Then fuse. Then new master switch. Or relay. Does that sound like a decent escalation?

Audio system? I got the warning for no warning chime, and no radio, phone, bluetooth, etc. Am hoping its just a fuse but ive heard it can be a blown amplifier.

You have to look up your specific model on internet if you don’t have fuse diagram card where it’s supposed to be as described in video

You’re going to have to look in your owners manual, there are too many variations in my shop manual to point you in the right direction. Also you can check for battery voltage at the bulb socket to see if you have power if you do than it’s not the fuse

There are NO fuses down in the battery compartment for the X3 where the battery is, as you pointed out. There are not fuses there.

They are not the usual ones but there is copper link fuses between the battery and the vehicle’s electrical system.

There is ,junction box ,move the right side panel inside the trunk, almost behind the rear light...
