If anyone doesn’t know, there’s a 12 frame delay between super counter inputs to make it harder to spam. It’s a lot more consistent if you actually try and time it with an attack

@ you have to do a separate up+square for each time you attempt it, and they have to be staggered not at the same time

If you miss the super counter, reset your sticks position to a neutral one then try again. Also the exact window to time it is during the attack, so the exact frame the opponent’s arm is hitting you.

Hey Doto! I wanna share a tip with you that might make super countering a bit easier for you! For the super counter input, press up and square or X at the same frame, this means you can’t hold up and mash square/X. If you don’t hit the super counter, reset your stick to a neutral position and try again. Also the best time to try to input a super counter is DURING the attack, so when the enemy’s arm is extended into your model. There’s a slight hit delay before the game registers a “hit”. Hope this helps!

I've noticed a lot of people don't use perception or A+B vanish attacks. It's mostly grabs and Z vanishes, and not to mention using characters with instant sparking/afterimage strike. I personally like explosive wave, instant transmission and solar flare. Also the perfectly timed heavy attack getting a vanish is pretty under utilized as well
