Hello John, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your journey through the entire Focused Ultrasound Process. I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's by one Neurologist and three others have said I have Essential Tremor, so it is somewhat confusing as to what I can do to treat this tremor. I had an evaluation done to confirm my candidacy for FU and was told that I was definitely a good candidate for the Procedure; however, my Neurologist just informed me that FU is not for Parkinson's Treatment. Obviously that is not the case, so I was wondering if you could possibly elaborate on the steps taken in evaluating your candidacy for the FU Procedure ? Thank you.

Yeah wow I'm confused by this as well. I'm a literal walking and talking example of how well it works for Parkinson's tremors and it works great for essential tremors as well. There are scores of videos that will show this. My suggestion is get to Dr Rees Cosgrove in Boston if you can. I think he is the best doctor on the planet and I owe him getting my life back to normal. F u s is a stone cold miracle if you ask me. Best of luck my friend!

I am unsure of that, but am curious if he had any surgical procedures done. Not everyone is a good candidate. His documentary is absolutely brilliant and so beautifully done.

Why people in the Philippines developed dyskinesia after the focus unltrasound 😢

I'm surprised by this comment because it was not presented as a high likelihood of a side effect in my case and nothing even resembling dyskinesia has occurred. It's been 20 months now and not even a whisper. Yay!

@@johndutton3679 I think because HIFu is just new in the market for us. I think the 1st case was in 2021. 🥹 Maybe they are still trying to find out how to do it properly.

Well that ain't good. People should do their homework and get the right doctor for this. Ask a lot of questions and properly vet the surgeon.

@@mannydecastro6934 Hey Manny that's a good question but it should be addressed to the Neurologist. They will have the right answers. Probably should ask asap in case they want your dad to halt the meds. I stopped mine several weeks before seeing my doctor. I wish you and your father the best! Keep us posted please. 🙏
