@ProductDesignOnline4 жыл бұрын
Hi Saeed. I would expect that to be more automated soon...but the easiest way to do that now is to create a new sketch and then use the Project command to project all the edges to the current sketch. That makes everything available in one sketch, where you can then export it as a DXF (right-click on sketch in Browser > Save as DXF).

@ravijavia81834 жыл бұрын
Hi Monte, there are two ways to export/output dxf for the arranged results: 1. While in the Edit Manufacturing Model environment, project the boundaries of arranged objects onto a sketch and then export the sketch as a dxf OR 2. Create a setup and toolpath operation for the arranged objects. Please make sure the sideways compensation is set to "Center" (for 2D Profile) or "Off" (for 2D Contour). Then you can PostProcess the toolpath by selecting one of the available DXF posts from the fusion post library. In the post dialog, you can set 'onlyCutting' = "YES" to get rid of the linking motion. And you can set 'includeDrill' = "NO" to avoid points at the drilling positions. To download and install the dxf post on your computer, please visit - "cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts?"

@@klm8156 If you haven't found it yet, you have go to the SETUP dropdown (located directly below Milling at the top) and then Create Manufacturing Model. Other thing I found out, it only works on components. So if you have a bunch of bodies under a component, you will only be able to select one body, and it'll move the entire assembly without laying it out So every body needs to be turned into a component, which is kind of a pain.

If you plan on doing it a lot then this addin is worth the 1 time cost: apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=3399489440307590024&appLang=en&os=Win64 Otherwise, you can use the Align command or Joints depending on how many parts you have/whether you want to be precise about the placement.

Kevin let me re define my question, I have a simple 2d part it measures approx 6" x 6" x 1" thick, How can I apply them in multiple times on a stock sheet to cut them out. Thanks

After creating your Manufacture Model you can copy/paste them in the Browser. Just make sure you enable the Manufacture Model preview and go that route as that will ensure you don't affect the original design models in the Design workspace.

Great feature! I think I ran into a snag... when you create a manufacturing model it seems to be a snapshot in time. When I do a bunch of alterations (arrange parts and create tool paths) I notice that the manufacturing models don't update when changes are made in the design model. Did I miss something? I cannot find an "update out of date models" of sorts in the manufacturing environment...!!! Help!

SCRATCH THAT! - - - Another problem solved by a quick Fusion RESTART... also the favorite solution of cable customer service reps around the world!

I was just playing with this on a design I was working on today. Seems something is different with sheet metal flat patterns I can't get them to work. Was anxious to try the "in-process stock" function.

And what’s about to arrange a biger project on multiple sheets? For instance to see how can I arrange all the components in best way without do it manually? That will very helpful for all woodworkers I guess 😉

How do I specify a .5 inch 4x8 foot plywood sheet and set up the routing paths? Another follow-on video would be great.

You will want to set up your routing paths in the Manufacture workspace. I'll will be doing a lot of CAM content later this year :)
