I really like the way you make those model in the simplest way, but maybe instead of removing circles like in 12:03 wouldn't it be better to change those be made of construction lines, this way they don't interfere with object's selection and dimensions are on the skatch

thanks for sharing, it reminds me of crowns on a kart. there is a pinion on the engine which via a chain drives the crown which is fixed on the axle of the wheels.

Hi, I faced the same problem and was not able to fillet my 3rd edge(before extrusion),but after providing the vertical dimension of 65.45 ,fillet option was available(in the 2d sketch itself). Thank you for the tutorial.

if you notice the teeth are in wrong place to the component drwg so if manufactured it would be scrap

Very good tutorial. But you could have used python spur gear script to generate gear directly.

In my version there is no compute option on the circular pattern 8:55. So it just did not work.

Hello! You can also do the 2D fillet command while sketching the teeth, then when you do the circular pattern for the filleted teeth already, you have it all. I myself sketched the whole gear before extruding, so i only had to extrude it once.
