Thanks man. I noticed that the automatic exploding was very distortional so I performed a one level explode, and then manually placed the components in their correct positions, just like you suggested. Manually doing the explode doesn't take much time (about 2 hours to explode an engine) and the results were inconceivably great. Cheers mate.

I was hoping to see whether you can add dimensions in the drawings produced by exploded views. Maybe the parts need to be transformed to orient parallel to a particular view?

I have only one storyboard created. But when I make a drawing from the animation a completly different position of the components is displayed. The drawing is not matching the animation. Pls help.

hello, how it Is going?, you can select the components/parts/models which you want to copy then press Ctrl+C and select the master component/assembly (with left mouse), where you want to lay down the copy and right mouse "paste new"....another method is select and click "M" (move command) > create copy...
