Instead of using a construction line, try using the center line. It will automatically dimension diameter in stead of radius.

- I see that 'Centerline' line has been mentioned, but here are a couple more things about it... --- It participates in making closed profiles (unlike "Construction" line). --- AND - relevant to this vid - in 'Revolve', it is AUTOMAGICALLY recognized as an axis for revolution!

My model only has one sketch. Revolve, Thin-Extrude, Full Round Fillet.

It can be done in one sketch without a second plane by setting the origin at the center of the ring and revolving the ring around the X axis, or Y axis if sketched on the YZ plane.

Yes, one sketch, one revolve, 4 extrusions.

@@philippe5394 One sketch, 2 revolves. The base revolves on the Z axis in either case. With the origin at the center of the ring I drew the 16mm ring profile 30mm below on the C/L. From that point down I drew the right profile of the base. So essentially it is the same sketch as Tyler's with the 16mm ring profile at the top of the base. The base is revolved the same. The ring is revolved head-on up and around. The resulting orientation is 90° to the example when sketched on the XZ plane. Sketched on the YZ plane keeps the original orientation.
