I didn`t intend to make use of this woodworking book, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* but rather curious about it. I had been truly amazed right after trying it. It never disappointed me in my wish to acquire more information about the art of wood working. Many topics were covered, including everything from wood types to developing your workshop.?

I'm working on modeling the plinth for my 1981 Victor QL-A95 turntable. This video was very helpful. I've still got a long way to go to finish the project but it's looking good. Since the plinth is sandwiched MDF it hasn't been too tough but Fusion 360 is not the easiest thing to teach yourself. For instance, as I modeled the four pieces of the box frame, I would try to cut 45deg bevels on the ends and align the pieces. Sometime when I draw my line, it doesn't end up on the face I intended and then I cannot extrude the cut. The plans info detailed here will help greatly if/when I can get the model finished and hand it off to a friend to cut the pieces for me.

Hello Sir. I have just finished my first real Design of a shelf to house all my herbs and spices. It took some time but your videos made it possible. Even with joinery involved. I didn't think i was up to the task but thanks to you I now have all the plans to start building right away. This will save me countless mistakes for my next projects especially the bigger ones

Great video and I greatly appreciate Justin's work. It's obvious he had not taken a mechanical drawing class.

I can't seem to inference off the box joints I made on the front panel of the box. I had to copy your dimensions because it wouldn't inference the points on the box joint for some reason. That Edit Feature when fixing those box joints was an amazing tip. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us, I've really needed to learn Fusion and this has been a fantastic course.

"show annotation unit", in the cog (annotation setting) at the bottom of the 2D drawing page will automatically show the unit (mm/inches, etc)

Justin - I'm working my way through your woodworking videos... excellent! Sketchup is annoying me and long ago I saw a video about Fusion so giving it a shot. One thing they did in that video was some neat things where they defined the length of various elements (like variables) and then used those when sketching/extruding. And somehow did it so that if they changed the length of something, other components would adjust as well as they were based on that. Would love if you covered that!

Yeah I need to research this a bit more before I can make a video about it, but it's on the list

Really appreciate this series. I am just learning. Is this woodworking series done with the free version of Fusion 360 or the paid version? As a hobbyist, not sure I really want to pay for the full version. Thanks

I am using the not for commercial use version of 360, so I can't output to any other formula but I can still print a drawing. Is there any way I can send a drawing to a friend?

The “personal Use” copy does not allow you to print the PDF. Also interestingly the Headers for the table appear at the bottom of the table. This is on the Mac OS version.

Unfortunately, with the changes in Fusion 360 personal use features exporting the woodworking plans drawing into PDF is no longer available. A subscription must be purchased in order to get a print out.

I have the latest version for personal use and have no problems exporting to PDFs.
@petervillaluz48443 жыл бұрын
@@MadMonk67 You must be one of the lucky ones. I just checked the program, completed the latest update that made the 10 editable projects active for personal use accounts, and all the "export to PDF" options are grayed out and are behind the subscription wall. So how did you get around the limitations of the personal use restrictions?
@markman633 жыл бұрын
same here, no more pdf exporting

Anyone found a workaround for exporting PDFs on the free version?

If your on a Windows box you can go to print and select “print to Microsoft PDF” and save it.

So what I love about this and is a bit annoying, I love that you can tell you didn’t do this all in advance this is you doing it live right now while it’s being recorded. That’s also what annoyed me, you probably should have planned out where your going to place those objects. Please know I’m learning so much from your videos and really I’m just being critical, keep em coming I’m still watching not done with all of them yet.
