Thanks Kevin. It's always really helpful for me to see how a proficient user would approach modelling a part. Not that I'm suggesting you are merely "proficient". Also, your explanations are extremely well paced. Never rushed, or skipping over details, and likewise not labouring a point over and over. Thanks again

I love these quick modeling exercises, every one of them I learn techniques that I’ve clumsily worked around in the past. Your channel is so helpful!

I was just tonight working on a spacer for a 3 jaw chuck, this thing is similar and your method was more economical than mine, thank you!

That is what it's all about. Learning new and better ways to do things and filing them away for other applications.

Enjoying working my way through your tutorials. Thanks for putting these together. One issue I haven't seen anyone address ins Fusion is in dimensioning. When I'm creating my sketch and adding dimensions some dimensions are not consistent in facing all the same direction. Sometimes I can figure out how to correct this by changing which line or point I choose first, but there are times no matter what I do I can't get the dimension to orientate in the same direction. I've looked around, but I can't find a way to flip the dimension. What am I missing?

Great - but what is the logic behind the 2 inch and the 5.14 inch circle. How do you arrive at those numbers?
@MechanicalAdvantage Жыл бұрын
Have a look at the print. Those were the numbers that were specified on the print i used.

@@MechanicalAdvantage Thanks - It is clearly derived from a formula for designing the Geneva mechanism, that I don't know.
