Hi, I have noticed that you were able to successfully combine the 2 bodies at the end. I am curious to know whether you did anything differently from what I showed in my video?

There was nothing particularly different from your video and I couldn't find anything wrong in your modeling process. What I wanna say is, I recently changed my graphic card to RTX3070 and then the error in Fusion 360 has been reduced.

I've noticed that, even though fusion shows 1 solid body in the tree after the combine command, you can still see the lines that indicate that the two original bodies are separate before the command 🤔

This is amazing. I noticed there is some weirdness on some of the fillets where the last two bodies meet, is this inevitable? Thank you for the video!!!

In my case, I didn't find any weirdness. If you have designed it exactly to fit the dimensions, there would be no problem because the two shapes are symmetrical. Thank you for watching ma video~:)

@@Globean Watching your video and doing the model was my pleasure. You can see what I mean if you zoom in at 6:50 to the left of where the construction axis ends at the top. You will see that the fillet of the two bodies meet in some places with a sharp edge. I also noticed tinkering with the parameters that if you use a fillet of 3mm the end face is continuous for some reason, why do you think that is? Edit: the sharp edge at some fillets is not exclusive to the last 2 bodies, you can already see it happen after the 3rd radial pattern where the arms of the pentagon module "separate" to the couple of hexagons modules. Where this two meet is where the sharp edge i'm talking about happens.

After supressing the fillet feature you can see more clearly what's going on, and I thing it has to do with the spliting of the middle hex around 5:07 The plane created to split the body doesn't contain the 2 inside edges (i.e. the fillet arc is not split in the exact middle) I'm wondering if this is fixable... Regardless of that thank you again. I wouldn't be able to model something like this in a year if it wasn't following your video step by step at 0.5 speed
