Mike. Can you go further with the probe lesson and work with finding coordinates along curves as seen along the top row of figures in the probing example ? That would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Your videos are excellent. Hope you keep them coming!! BTW, does the probe function require an electrically connected probe or can you use a Haimer type manual probe?

I have a Renishaw probe as well as a Haimer. I read on the F360 forum that touch probes like the Renishaw are not supported unless you have a mainstream post such as Hass, Fanuc - but not LinuxCNC for instance. Can you confirm please? And for the Haimer, you could imagine that the CAM could position a manual probe up close, ready for jogging. Then you could touch off and set the zero and set it off for the next point. It would work for hobby users but I don't suppose that would justify the cost of developing it. I hope we can see probe supported in more posts like LinuxCNC.

What good is probine part location without a way for probing a part orientation?
