Excellent tutorial. This would not have been possible for me without the pause and rewind button, but in the end i was able to perfectly replicate it. I learned a lot from this and will continue to watch your other vids. Thank you for taking the time.

Kristian!! Your tutorials are fantastic! I learned so much with this one. I’ve been creating some lampshades and the ribbed style is the one I was looking to learn. Thank you! ❤

Great video, I had know idea how you where going to approach this design, You really made me think about the loft , twist, and pattern functions, I would not have done it this way because of my ignorance.

Great approach! I was trying for hours but couldnt get it right. Then I saw your video and it made click in my head :D

Genuinely some of the best fusion tutorials on KZbin. I've learned so much about navigating the program from these videos. Just being able to select only bodies and making selection groups and grouping large numbers of timeline events. Truly thank you for your great explanations and tips. Explaining the shortcut commands you use help so much.

Very cool. I was thinking of making a coaster like this for CNC milling. Though it could make a cool mug also.

Fantastic tutorial. when i mirrored the bodies at 18:15 the color of my mirrored bodies change to the default steel satin color. How can I change it back to the default surface tool color. Thanks in advance
@KristianLaholmАй бұрын
Are you seeing the "backside" of the surface bodies? More then that I can only think that your Fusion is getting a bit confused with all the bodies.

Hello! Amazing video!!! I’m trying to do the same thing with the exterior ribs but when I thicken and “intersect” it’s using the extruded vertical panels as a cut feature and doesn’t create the nice effect. Would you know why??
@KristianLaholm10 күн бұрын
I think I need to see some images to understand the problem. Is the final geometry not looking good or failing?
@wiperpaul5 ай бұрын
I wanted to make a design with a few hundred panels in the end during my pattern on path, I used two panels with one which was a bit shorter to give some additional design and duplicated this. When I try the thicken operation on my selection set of 300 it uses all my 32GB of RAM and freezes. I left it for 30 mins but no luck, is there a way around this ?

Do you have beginner videos, to start learning how to use the program?
@KristianLaholm Жыл бұрын
While I don't have a complete beginner's series available, there is a basic playlist on my channel that you can follow once you have a grasp of the fundamentals of Fusion. This playlist will guide you through some essential techniques and concepts to help you progress beyond the basics.

Love this video!! Do you have any general pointers for mimicking an emboss on a surface that’s curved in more than one direction?
@KristianLaholm Жыл бұрын
I use an intermediate body and emboss on that. Then add that to curved body or use split face + offset face, will not work on all surfaces and there will be distorsions of the sketch you want to emboss.

Didn't know you could constrain one lines center to another line. :) I usually use dimension, the half of the vertical line to the horizontal line.
@KristianLaholm Жыл бұрын
There are some useful ways of using constraints but it's a bit hard to find help/tutorials on all the small tricks.
