She deserved every moment of this. I've watched her for 10 years and she's worked so hard. She seemed to take her fitness and technique seriously around 2016 and never stopped improving since. There's two dancers I respect for work ethic: WAACKXXXY and Greenteck - those two work HARD at upping their skill level each year. Very proud of her.

The actual judges of battles do NOT see style as a deciding factor. Meaning, a waacking can win against a bboy for instance. They look at the utilization of the music and beats, and strictly decide on that. So to put it simply, people who laugh at waacking don't matter at all. The culture is already alive before them, their knowledge is not.

For anyone who's wondering where is waackxxxy and yoonji rn (her previous partner last year, they are participating as Mannequeen crew in Street Woman Fighter Season 2, a dance survival show in S.Korea. They already released their crew performance. Also waackxxxy-yoonji as duo winning the main dancer title on the duo mission, thus they also directing special performance video for a song called Swipe on that show.

@Purplekidd my bad 😅 I used to korean show's term, hence i use "dance survival show". Basically it's dance competition show in south korea's cable tv channel. So the competition format is a bit different. Also this shows is also known to have a bit "drama" too, not just showcasing the dance part. Probably this season wil also have 9 episodes. Up to this day, it's already releasing 3 episodes.
