Fusion needs and i mean REALLY needs deep composting if it wants to attract more productions to its workflow.

It has deep pixel compositing

@@BrianRossney yes but not deep composting which is not the same thing and deep compositing is amazing.

It's confusing. I believe Fusion had the name deep pixel compositing before Nuke had Deep compositing.

It had deep EXR support back with fusion 8-9 API, BMD removed it because their editor focused package didn't need support for deep EXR. But thankfully it's coming soon as a fuse from the reactor creators.

This is a sign to finally learn fusion !

You should check out blackmagic's own tutorials and documentation. It's all very good, especially if the tutorials.

@@videopro__ you should it's really easy actually. If you follow the official tutorials. They provide you with project files to work on along aside. Its really daunting initially to get started but it's so much less work doing everything in Resolve plus when you come back to a project you can see what you did by following the nodes, even if you didn't label them. I am biased as I am not a big fan of Adobe AFX and I really love nuke.

And if you own the studio version of Resolve, you can download the studio version of Fusion 19 as well. Just along as those two things sit on the same computer.

is there any other difference or uses, than it is more stable and being able to render on a pc while working on another one? is there any real good reason to install fusion studio , rather than just use DR studio?
@coinopanimator3 ай бұрын
@@chillingdudex if you’re round tripping to another editor like avid or just doing comp straight comp work the it’s more convenient and yes you can use it as a render node. There’s a few other benefits like being to resize or extend a comp easier

@@chillingdudex Something I came across recently is that Fusion Studio allows you to use more of the RAM on your system than in Resolve >> it processes heavy workloads much better >> worth installing if you already have Resolve Studio license 👌💯🌟

@@chillingdudex Hey yes check 'More speed WITHOUT more money for Fusion VFX' by Creative Video Tips >> excellent channel >> Fusion Studio processes heavy comps mech better as it allows more system RAM usage and is a direct engine... worth installing if you have a Resolve Studio license 👌💯

I really dislike the Keyframe editor in Fusion tab of Davinci Resolve. Is it any different in the separate Fusion app (which used to be called Studio but currently seems to only be named Fusion 19)? Reason I don't like it is because of glitchy performance (deleted keyframes not disappearing until zooming in or out; as well as occasional inability to see the bottom-most keyframe channel; fiddly handling, when you want to select just one keyframe I often end up selecting all keyframes, but that one could be just me though.)

Fusion should be supported by Nvidia Omniverse. Similar to how Nvidia hub supports Nuke.
