Don Adams was a stand up comic who did comedy on the The Bill Dana Show , voiced cartoon characters including Tenn. Tuxedo and this series . It is amazing work in the field when I found out that Mr. Adams was a WW Two veteran who saw fierce fighting as a Marine and saw battle related trauma in later life . Truly amazing that he did this comic work !

I have had the honor of seeing Mr. Wakeman live 3 times 1st time in 1979 and he is totally focused on his playing surrounded by massive banks of keyboards (You can tell I have 0 musical knowledge). You can see it in his eyes and body language the intensity. I have all of Rick's works and love the solo albums the most because they flowed like water... I liked Chris Squire's interview very much also from a few years back on Master Class... Great interview.

If the internet is to be believed, that 1961 Ferrari 250 is now worth somewhere north of $1.7 million 😲 Which I think makes it the most valuable vehicle to've appeared so far in any of Fusion Kidd's videos!

Excelente compilado de autos del Agente 86. Muchas veces veo estas series viejas para ver los autos. Muy bien hecho, lo disfrute mucho
@ck27018 күн бұрын
The cars changed with whichever auto company furnished the cars. MoPar products were kargely used for the first two seasons. The VW Karmann Ghia was driven by Max only in the opening credits as VW was one of the sponsors of the show. This was about the time Max switched to the Shelby Mustang as well, hence the secondary vehicles became Fords and Lincolns. The fifth and final season saw Get Smart move from NBC to CBS, with GM's Buick Division becoming the provider of cars, hence Max's Opel GT, which was a captive import sold through Buick dealers.

The '59 Ford Galaxie turns from a (Custom) 4 door sedan into a 2 door hardtop when it takes the cliff dive. Shouldn't that have been the other way around?
@CAROLDDISCOVER-202511 күн бұрын
Yes it should have been the other way around. But I found the interesting as well because in those old TV shows cars were always changing from the top of the cliff to the bottom of the cliff😅

When Max was taken away from the court house in the 59 Ford Fairlane 500, the car they actually got into was a Custom 300 4 door. The steering wheel he grabbed was from a 1960 Ford, but the car they went over the embankment in was a 59 Fairlane 2 door hardtop.

Had one of those oples showed at opening credits it was a fun little car opal designed first generation pinto engines for Ford pintos
@johnd889217 күн бұрын
Unlikely that the GM owned German brand Opel would design a Ford motor. I think the Pinto design would have come from Fords German or UK divisions where that Pinto two litre OHC motor was used in many smaller Ford cars as the top motor option. Ford Cortina Mk 3 onwards and Taunus , Capri and Escort Mk 2. A few others as well.

@@hughestodd The reason why the Sunbeam switch is from my research, the Tiger was a Ford V-8, the Alpine was a 4 cylinder engine, it was a matter of being able to fit the weaponry under the hood better, it was a rarity that the chief drove the Shelby 500KR, you wouldn't have expected that
