Clark's '53 Nash Healy was a beautiful short-lived sports car.

I love these "classic cars of " ... been watching all of them. The Adventures of Superman and Highway Patrol were my particular favorites during the 50s and 60s ... and later haha. Thanks.

I was happy to see so many independent automakers like Nash, Kaiser/ Frazer, Studebaker and Packard represented in the earlier episodes. I also noticed more Chrysler products in the later ones. Was Chrysler a sponsor, perhaps?

Nash-Kelvinator vehicles appeared in many pre-1954 television shows (not so much after they merged with Hudson to form American Motors). Amazed to see the Kaisers, Frazers and Packards too. From about 1955 onward, Chrysler vehicles appeared in many more TV shows (the better to show off their "Forward Look," especially in color)

Another great post! Thanks! I love all of these. You're very talented! That's a pretty good match on George Reeves' voice. Everyone over a certain age will always recognize the epic opening theme of this series after only the first note, just like the Beatles "A Hard Day's Night." Thanks again!

I remember that episode when the foreign king drives his own limousine car backwards. I never saw a car like that before or since😊😊😊

Didn't George Reeves have his personal sports car shown in a few episodes.

I always liked Lois’ Nash Rambler convertibles in the B/W episodes.

They sure did like their independents in Metropolis in the early '50s. In the most recent Superman comic I've seen where Clark is driving a car it's an Altima, either rented or from the Daily Planet fleet.

You should do the TV series the "Untouchables". The cars in that show were already classics then. Also "Kraft Suspense Theater" had tons of cool cars.

That 1952 Nash Healey was really George Reeves car given to him by his mistress Toni Maddocks

Just great! One of the best videos on youtube. I wish you would do one like this on the last three years of Mission: Impossible tv series. I can't tell if some of the cars Mr. Phelps is driving to get his assignment on a tape recorder, are Mercurys or Chryslers.

Even the crimms keep their cars all spiffed up. Like seeing some of the roadways, surface streets & buildings I recognize from working in downtown LA in the 1990's!

Based on the cars they were driving, I'm guessing they paid reporters pretty well at the Daily Planet.

That's why I never liked Studebakers. The steering wheels always broke off and the right front wheel always caught fire.
